Benedikt Reichsritter and Edler von Poschinger (born November 30, 1785 in Frauenau , † May 4, 1856 in Oberzwieselau ) was a Bavarian manufacturer and member of the state parliament .

Life

Benedikt von Poschinger came from the old Bavarian Poschinger family , whose lineage begins with Joachim Poschinger (1523–1599), landlord on Zwieselau ( Regen district ) in the Bavarian Forest , and was first mentioned in 1140. His brother was the member of the state parliament, Johann Michael von Poschinger .

By marrying his first wife Anna Maria Edle von Hilz, he became a glassworks and landlord on Oberzwieselau . As a result, this part of the Zwieselau estate, acquired by Joachim Poschinger in 1568, which was divided between the sons Paulus and Hans Poschinger in Unterzwieselau and Oberzwieselau in 1587 , came back into the family. Benedikt von Poschinger again divided the estate into Oberzwieselau and Buchenau .

Poschinger was from 1819 to 1828 and from 1837 to 1843 for the constituency Unterdonaukreis and later Lower Bavaria member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
