Benjamin Fuchs (born October 20, 1983 in Nuremberg ) is an Austrian - German football player . The son of a Turkish mother and an Austrian father also has Turkish citizenship and therefore plays in Turkey under a local player license.

Career

Fuchs played in the youth of 1. FC Nürnberg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth , where he also gained his first experience in the Bayern League . From January 2006 he was a professional in the second division squad of Fürth. His first appearance against Kickers Offenbach on January 29, 2006 was followed by nine more games in the second division. For the 2006/07 season, Fuchs moved back to the Regionalliga Süd, to SV Wehen , where he was used in 20 first-team games. For the 2007/08 season he went to second division relegated Eintracht Braunschweig, with whom he qualified for the third division . In 2011 he celebrated the championship with Braunschweig and the associated return to the second Bundesliga.

For the 2012/13 season, Fuchs moved to the TFF 1st Lig for the Turkish first division relegated Manisaspor . After two seasons in the second division, he moved to the first division side Torku Konyaspor .

In the summer of 2015, Fuchs moved to the second Turkish league for promoted Göztepe Izmir . For the second half of the 2015/16 season, his club loaned him to league rivals Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor .

After the contract in Izmir was terminated in September 2017, Fuchs joined the Turkish third division club Gümüşhanespor in January 2018 after four months without a club . For the 2018/19 season he moved to the third-class Fatih Karagümrük SK . In April 2019 he left Fatih Karagümrük.

For the 2019/20 season he moved to the fourth division Ci Group Buca . In January 2020 he left Buca after eleven fourth division appearances.
