Benjamin Reichert (born May 17, 1983 in Essen ) is a former German soccer player and current player agent .

Career

Benjamin Reichert went through all youth teams of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen from the F-youth . In the 2002/03 season he made his debut on matchday 31 at the age of 20 against MSV Duisburg in the 2nd Bundesliga . After relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2004/05 season he was a regular in the regional league team, but rose with the club in the Oberliga Nordrhein . With Reichert as captain, however, the club managed to rise again, so that he played again in the Regionalliga Nord in the 2007/08 season . In the following season, RWO made a sensational return to the 2nd Bundesliga. Reichert was considered to be the leader of the team known as the "Malocher troop", which still enjoys a special status with the fans to this day. Starting with the 08/09 season, Reichert played with his team for three years in the 2nd Bundesliga and took them to the field as captain 61 times. In the 08/09 season he was also selected by the specialist magazine Kicker in the list of the outstanding central defenders of the 2nd Bundesliga. After a total of 24 years in Oberhausen , Reichert moved to the club for the first and only time in the 2012/13 season and signed a contract with Wuppertaler SV Borussia . After a year in Wuppertal , Reichert ended his career at the age of 30.

Private

1997 Benjamin Reichert founded, among others, with his brothers Ralf and Tim Reichert the e-sports - Clan SK Gaming , which today is one of the world's most successful clans. After his career, Reichert started working for the consultancy KL Sportsbase, where he mainly looks after young players.
