Benjamin Reusser (born June 17, 1987 ) is a Swiss floorball player . He is under contract with the National League A representative Grasshopper Club Zurich .

Career

society

Kloten-Bülach jets

Reusser began his career with the Kloten-Bülach Jets . In 2004 he made his debut in the National League A. With the Jets he rose in 2006 to the second highest division. He was no longer used under the new coach and was often deported to the U21 team.

HC Rychenberg Winterthur

In 2007 Reusser moved to the canton neighbor HC Rychenberg Winterthur . After two seasons, Reusser left Winterthur back to his home club.

Kloten-Bülach jets

At the Kloten-Bülach Jets, Reusser became a regular player under the new coach and was able to celebrate promotion to the top division. In his second season he drew the attention of both domestic and foreign clubs with 31 scorer points.

Nokian Kristilliset Palloilijat

In the summer of 2011, he switched to the Finnish first division club Nokian Kristilliset Palloilijat. For the Finnish team from Nokia he scored 45 points in 43 games. He also collected 40 penalty minutes.

Kloten-Bülach jets

For the 2013/14 season Reusser returned to the Kloten-Bülach Jets. In four seasons with the Jets he completed 74 points scorer.

Grasshopper Club Zurich

On April 18, 2017, the Grasshopper Club Zurich announced that Reusser would be joining the Grasshoppers for the 2017/18 season.

National team

Reusser made his debut on April 22, 2011 for the Swiss national floorball team at the Euro Floorball Tour . He played in the fourth storm line together with Christoph Meier and Renato Schneider. He scored his first goal in the national team jersey a day later in the defeat against Finland. He was also named the best Swiss player.

Reusser was in the squad for the 2012 World Cup in Switzerland. He completed six games. He scored two hits and one assist.

After the World Cup, Reusser was not called up in the national team for four years. In 2016 Reusser was again called up for the Euro Floorball Tour under national coach David Jansson.
