Claudio Laely (born February 22, 1992 ) is a Swiss floorball player . He is under contract with the National League A representative Grasshopper Club Zurich .

UHC alligator malans

Laely started his career with UHC Alligator Malans . In 2009 he was added to the first team squad. Two years later he was able to qualify for the playoff final with the Malansern for the first time. There you lost to the series champion SV Wiler-Ersigen. A year later, Malans made it into the final of the Swiss Cup, which they won against SV Wiler-Ersigen and thus to return the favor for the defeat in last year's championship final. In 2013 the qualification succeeded again. In the final, the UHC Alligator Malans was able to defeat the floorball Köniz. In 2014 he lost to the UHC Alligator Malans in the cup final at the Grasshopper Club Zurich. At the upcoming Cup, Malans made it to the final again and Laely was able to win his second cup. Only a few months later they lost to SV Wiler-Ersigen in the superfinal . In the 2017 Superfinal they again lost to the SVWE.

Grasshopper Club Zurich

After the 2016/17 season, UHC Alligator Malans announced Laely's departure to the Grasshopper Club Zurich. At the Champy Cup 2017, Laely injured his foot and is therefore absent at the start of the championship.

National team

In 2010 Laely took part with the U19 national floorball team in the Euro Floorball Tour, in which Switzerland reached fourth and last place. A year later he played under Thomas Berger at the U19 World Championship in Weissenfels. There he won the bronze medal. In 2013 he was called up for the first time for the senior national team and took part with the team in the Euro Floorball Tour, in which he contributed four assists. Three years later he took part in the World Cup for the first time. He was used in six games and scored two goals and contributed an assist. Switzerland finished the tournament in third place.
