The Tattoo Kulture Magazine is a German trade journal for tattoos and body art, it appears six times a year with an average print run of 20,000 copies.

Story and content

The Tattoo Kulture Magazine first appeared on December 17, 2013. It was initially published by the Paranoia Publishing Group, and since mid-2018 the publisher has been taken over by Ungemach Publishing. According to its own information, the magazine reports on authentic tattoos without neglecting current developments. It is “reported from the scene for the scene”, old school attitude paired with craftsmanship is the focus of the reports. The magazine gives insights beyond tattooing by established artists and newcomers.

In issue no.32 of April 12, 2019, the Tattoo Kulture Magazine, in cooperation with the Institute for German Tattoo History , published a scientific report on the tattoo pioneer Horst H. Straßenbach . The magazine begins a series with historical information and makes a contribution to German tattoo history.
