Mathieu Unternährer (born June 17, 1991 ) is an Italian-Swiss floorball player . He is under contract with the National League A representative Grasshopper Club Zurich .

Career

Unterährer began his career at UHC Biel-Seeland.

Ticino floorball

In 2014, Unternährer moved to Ticino Unihockey in Ticino . He played in the Ticino squad for a year. At the end of the season, the club announced the departure of the Bieler.

Floorball Mittelland

Unterährer tackled the 2015/16 season with Floorball Mittelland in the National League B.

Grasshopper Club Zurich

In May 2016, GC announced the transfer of the French border. He signed a one-year contract with an option for another. This option was drawn at the end of the season. This extends the Unternährer contract by one year, and at the same time another contract option has been incorporated.

National team

Since Unternährer has Italian citizenship, he plays for the Italian national team. With this he took part in the World Championship qualifications in 2016 and 2018, in which his team could not qualify.
