Benny Chan
Benny Chan Muk-Sing ( Chinese 陳木 勝 / 陈木 胜 , Pinyin Chén Mùshèng , Jyutping Can 4 Muk 6 sing 3 ; * October 7, 1961 in Hong Kong ; † August 23, 2020 there ) was a screenwriter , film director and film producer from Hong Kong .
Chan began his career as an assistant director at Hong Kong television broadcaster Television Broadcasts Limited. From 1990 he worked as a director, producer and screenwriter for his own films. He is best known for his collaboration with Jackie Chan . His work as a director includes around two dozen productions, mainly action films. He died at the age of 58 of complications from nasopharyngeal cancer , leaving behind his wife and two children.
