Benoît Delhomme

Benoît Delhomme (born August 28, 1961 in Paris ) is a French cameraman .

Life

Born in Paris, Benoît Delhomme grew up in Cherbourg in Normandy . From 1980 to 1982 he studied at the École Louis-Lumière film school in Paris . He then assisted Bruno Nuytten , among others, and made several short films before he was responsible for his first feature film as a cameraman in 1993 with the drama The Scent of Green Papaya . Since then he has worked as a cameraman for films such as The Proposition , Room 1408 and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas . For his camera work on Artemisia , he received a nomination for best camera at the 1998 French César film award.
