Benthamiella nordenskioldii is a plant type from the genus Benthamiella in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).
description
Benthamiella nordenskioldii is a Chamaephyte . The slightly fleshy leaves reach a length of 6 to 10 mm and a width of 0.75 to 2 mm, they are hairless or balding. The calyx is 3 to 5 mm long, almost bell-shaped and hairy on the outside and on the edge. The crown is tubular and hairless, it becomes 9 to 11 mm long. The five stamens are of the same shape or almost the same length, they do not protrude beyond the crown. The stamens are hairless, they start in the upper half of the corolla tube. The ovary has a visible nectarium . The stylus does not protrude beyond the crown.
distribution
The species occurs in very southern areas near the Andes and Tierra del Fuego , it is found in Santa Cruz , Tierra del Fuego and in the province of Última Esperanza .
