Beresyna ( Ukrainian Березина ; Russian Березина Beresina , Polish Brzezina ) is a village in the Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 2100 inhabitants (2001).

The village, first mentioned in writing in 1439, is located in the historical landscape of Galicia and is the only place of the 12.42 km² district council of the same name in the south of Mykolaiv Rajon .

Beresyna is located south of the town of Rosdil , at an altitude of 295  m at the mouth of the 18 km long Kolodnytsya ( Колодниця ) in the Dniester , 13 km southeast of the Mykolaiv district center and 48 km south of the Lviv oblast center .

The composition of the village population is homogeneous: 99.9% are Ukrainians. The climate in the village is moderately continental with high humidity and frequent fog. The territorial road T – 14–19 runs through the village, which leads over a bridge to the opposite bank of the Dniester.
