Bergith Geyer (born May 7, 1947 ) is a German production designer and art teacher.

Live and act

Bergith Geyer completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter up to the journeyman's certificate . This was followed by a four-semester theoretical training at the Academy of Fine Arts (1972 to 1974) in Munich. Between 1975 and 1979 she finished her apprenticeship with a degree in interior design (degree: Dipl.-Ing.). Geyer then made her first contacts in the television industry as an assistant to Martin Dörfler and Hans Gailling . Active as a film architect since the early 1980s, Bergith Geyer was initially entrusted with the design of the scenery for a number of TV series, including Nesthäkchen , Die Hausmeisterin and Die Männer vom K3 . Only at the turn of the millennium did the designer regularly oversee individual productions for television.

In these first 30 professional years, Bergith Geyer was also active in the field of classic interior design: She designed numerous rooms and interiors of shops as well as villas and other houses. She also worked as a painter. At the beginning of the 2010s she said goodbye to the TV industry and turned to other artistic fields: From 2010 to 2017, Bergith Geyer worked for Boesner (art supplies wholesale) as a customer advisor in the field of artistic design. In addition, she devoted herself to artistic issues in the pedagogical area and, as it is called in a self-presentation, gives “creative children's courses”.
