Berkay Tanir (born June 16, 1999 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Tanir started his career at SKVg Pottenbrunn . For the 2009/10 season he moved to SC Herzogenburg . For the 2012/13 season he came to AKA St. Pölten . After a little over half a year at the St. Pölten Academy, he switched to the youth team at SKN St. Pölten in March 2013 . For the 2014/15 season he returned to AKA St. Pölten. For the 2017/18 season Tanir moved to Turkey in the youth of Gençlerbirliği Ankara .

In February 2019 he joined the lower class Eskişehir Yunusemre Spor . For the 2019/20 season he switched to the youth team at Eskişehirspor . In February 2020 he was against Fatih Karagümrük SK for the first time in the squad of the second-rate professionals of Eskişehir. He finally made his debut in the TFF 1st Lig in March 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Hasan Ulaş Uyğur in the 72nd minute against Adana Demirspor on matchday 28 of the 2019/20 season . By the end of the season he came to seven appearances in the second highest Turkish league.
