Ferhat Kiraz (born January 2, 1989 in Bozkır , Konya ) is a Turkish football player .

Player career

society

Kiraz started club football in 2001 in the youth of Çankırıspor . Just a few months later, he and his family moved to Konya , so Kiraz had to look for a club here. He started playing in Konya Demirspor's youth . In January 2005 he was nominated for the Turkish U-15 national team and made his debut for this on January 4, 2005 in a friendly against France. The talent scouts from Gençlerbirliği Ankara immediately noticed him and signed him a few days later. Although he had a professional contract here, he played for a week for the youth teams of Gençlerbirliğis. Here the coach of the reserve team, Metin Diyadin , noticed him and brought him to the reserve team. From then on he played for the reserve team for a year and a half and recommended himself for the professional team. So he started to train regularly with the professionals in addition to his work in the reserve. He made his debut for the professionals on October 15, 2006 in a league encounter against Beşiktaş Istanbul . By the end of the season he had two more competitive games for the professionals. The next season he made almost twice as many matches as a supplementary player. He spent the 2008/09 season on loan with the second division Karşıyaka SK . Here he formed a feared offensive trio with Rıdvan Şimşek and Cihan Yılmaz and advanced to become one of the shooting stars of the season. For the 2009/10 season he returned to Gençlerbirliği, but was not used here. To enable him match practice he was loaned to the second team Gençlerbirliğis, to the second division club Hacettepe SK, until the end of the season . With this club he made twelve matches and scored two goals by the end of the season.

After his contract with Gençlerbirliği had expired in the summer of 2012, he accepted the offer from the second division Boluspor and signed a three-year contract here. At Boluspor he immediately fought for a regular place and with twelve goals this season advanced to the most accurate player of his team and again one of the shooting stars of the TFF 1st Lig . Also in the next season he delivered a convincing performance and became a permanent player in the second guard of the Turkish national team .

In the summer of 2012, several Süper Lig clubs expressed their interest in Kiraz. Bursaspor showed the greatest interest and quickly reached an agreement with Kiraz. His transfer fee was negotiated with Boluspor for a long time until an agreement was reached. Kiraz signed a three-year contract on June 19, 2012. At his new club he only came on as a substitute who was substituted on in the second half of the game. In November 2012 he played in the encounter against Beşiktaş Istanbul for the first time from the start and over the entire game. On the following day he was again in the starting line-up and scored his first first division goal in the home game against Mersin İdman Yurdu . He met again on the next match day and made sure that he became the new shooting star of his team.

For the 2014/15 season, Bursaspor hired a new head coach with Şenol Güneş . He used Kiraz in some games at the start of the season, but suspended him from the team squad together with his teammate İbrahim Öztürk in October 2014 . After Kiraz trained with the reserve team for two months and had not received any wages for several weeks, he sent his club a reminder. His club then transferred the outstanding salary payments three days before the deadline, thus preventing Kiraz from being released free of charge.

In the 2014/15 winter transfer period, Kiraz moved within the Süper Lig to the Central Anatolian representative Kasımpaşa Istanbul . He played here for two years and was transferred to the second division club Yeni Malatyaspor in January 2017 . With this club he succeeded at the end of the season, the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and thus promotion to the Süper Lig . Despite this success, his contract was terminated in the summer of 2017 by mutual agreement, so that he could switch to the second division MKE Ankaragücü for the new season .

National team

Kiraz went through almost all youth national teams in his country from the Turkish U-16 national team.

He was nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team for the first time in February 2011 . He made his international debut on February 9, 2011 during a friendly against Belarus.

As part of the Toulon 2012 tournament , Kiraz was appointed to the second selection of the Turkish national team in May 2012 . The Turkish A2 nominated here for players younger than 23 years to meet the age requirements for the tournament. The team made it to the finals and was subject to Mexico's selection. Kiraz was one of the top performers on his team during the tournament and played in all matches.
