Hakan Aslantaş (born August 26, 1985 in Stuttgart ) is a German-Turkish soccer player . His traditional playing position is midfield, but he is also often used as a left defender.

Career

youth

Hakan Aslantaş was born in Stuttgart as the son of Turkish guest workers . After playing in the youth teams of TSV Raidwangen, FV 09 Nürtingen , SV Stuttgarter Kickers and VfB Stuttgart , he was offered a professional contract for five years by the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara and thus moved to the top Turkish division of the Süper Lig .

society

At Gençlerbirliği he was initially part of the reserve team, but was allowed to participate in the training of the professional team. After a few weeks, coach Ziya Doğan added him to the professional team. So he made his debut on September 11, 2004 as a professional footballer in a league game against Diyarbakırspor . By the end of the season, he came back repeatedly and played a total of eleven games. At the beginning of the 2005/06 season he was informed by the new coach Mesut Bakkal that he was not planning with him for the upcoming season. His old coach Ziya Doğan, who was now working for league rival Malatyaspor , heard this fact and took him to his new place of work on loan. Here Aslantaş came to regular appearances and was able to collect match practice. For the 2006/07 season he returned to Gençlerbirliği. For the new season, Mesut Bakkal found him fit and let him play a total of twenty times.

For the 2007/08 season Gençlerbirliği replaced Mesut Bakkal with Fuat Çapa . Fuat Çapa decided after the preparation camp for the new season that Aslantaş should be loaned out. Aslantaş spent the first half of the season with league rivals Gençlerbirliği Oftaş . Here he became a regular player straight away and so came to regular appearances. During the winter break, the club management replaced Gençlerbirliğis Fuat Çapa with German coach Reinhard Stumpf . Reinhard Stumpf immediately expressed the wish to see Hakan Aslantaş in his team. So the contract with Gençlerbirliği Oftaş was dissolved and Aslantaş played from then on in the regular formation. After the expiry of his contract with Gençlerbirliği at the end of the 2008/09 season, he decided to want to leave the club for the new season. So he moved to Kayserispor within the league . Here he made 20 appearances in the starting line-up and then played over 90 minutes, but did not succeed in becoming a regular player.

His former coach and sponsor Ziya Doğan rose to the Süper Lig with Konyaspor and made Hakan Aslantaş an offer. Aslantaş accepted the offer and switched to Konyaspor. Here he became a regular player straight away. His club could not prevent relegation at the end of the season. During the winter break of the 2011/12 season, the first division club Bursaspor courted him . Since Konyaspor found itself in financial difficulties, a change was agreed. Aslantaş moved to Bursaspor for a transfer fee of 400,000 euros. Here he won a place in the regular formation in a few days.

On January 12, 2014, Hakan Aslantaş moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara. After a year and a half he moved to city and league rivals Osmanlıspor FK . With this club he won the pre-season TSYD Ankara Cup in the summer of 2015 . After only half a season he returned to Gençlerbirliği.

For the 2016/17 season he moved within the Süper Lig to promoted Kardemir Karabükspor .

National team

Hakan Aslantaş started playing for the Turkish junior national teams early on. He went through most of the junior national teams over the years. In 2004 he made it to the finals with the Turkish U-19 at the U-19 European Football Championship in 2004 . Here they failed after a 0-1 defeat at the Spanish U-19 selection and became vice European champion.
