Rıdvan Şimşek (born January 17, 1991 in Konak ( Izmir )) is a Turkish football player . He is the cousin of soccer player Yusuf Şimşek .

Career

society

Şimşek began his career in 2008 in the 2nd Turkish League with Karşıyaka SK . In his first professional season he already impressed with his good performance. Beşiktaş Istanbul signed him and he signed a contract until 2013.

Şimşek played in the 2010/11 season on loan for the first time with Kardemir Karabükspor and then in the second half of the second division with Elazığspor .

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to the first division club Gaziantepspor, including the transfer .

Without having played a single game for Gaziantepspor, he returned in the summer of 2013, he returned to his first club Karşıyaka SK . In the summer of 2015 he moved to the first division team Antalyaspor , the club that Şimşek's cousin Yusuf Şimşek was head coach.

During the winter transfer period of 2016/17, he moved to the second division side Sivasspor .

National team

Şimşek completed several missions for the Turkish U-18, for the U-19 and U-21 national team .

In 2013 he made his debut for the second selection of the Turkish national team .
