North America and West Indies Rugby Association

The North America and West Indies Rugby Association (NAWIRA) is the continental association responsible for rugby union in North America and the Caribbean .

18 national associations are affiliated to it, 16 of them are full members and two are associate members. NAWIRA was founded in 2001 when the associations of the USA and Canada joined the West Indies Rugby Association , which has existed since 1975 . The association organizes several continental competitions of different ages.
