Bernard Shlesinger
Bernard E. Shlesinger III (born December 17, 1960 in Washington, DC , USA ) is an American clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Atlanta .
Life
Bernard Shlesinger received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Raleigh on June 22, 1996 .
On 15 May 2017 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of Naiera and auxiliary bishop in Atlanta . The Archbishop of Atlanta, Wilton Daniel Gregory , ordained him episcopal on July 19 of that year at the Cathedral of Christ the King . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Arlington , Michael Francis Burbidge , and the Bishop of Raleigh, Luis Rafael Zarama Pasqualetto .
