Bernd Finkeldei

Bernd Finkeldei (born September 10, 1947 in Bad Driburg ) is a German painter.

Life

Bernd Finkeldei studied from 1971 to 1977 at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Karin Götz ( Rissa ) as a master class student. He was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation . From 1977 to 1978 he studied at the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris . In 1977 Rissa founded the painter group Axiom with Bernd Finkeldei, Astrid Feuser , Udo Scheel and Norbert Tadeusz . In 1986 he attended the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver. Finkeldei lives and works in Düsseldorf .
