Bernd Windisch (born June 18, 1980 in Leoben ) is an Austrian football player in the position of midfielder . Since 2012 he has been in the squad of the first combat team of SV Pachern .
life and career
The Styrian began his career with the local clubs FC Trofaiach and SV Hinterberg ( Leoben district ). The Upper Styrian came later to the youth of the DSV Leoben . For the first time in a squad of a first team, Windisch was at FC Gratkorn . In 2000 he moved to Tyrol for SV Wörgl . There he made his professional debut on July 4, 2000, when he played from the beginning in the 1: 2 defeat in the first round match against SV Braunau and was replaced by Thomas Schmidhuber from the 81st minute . After a year in Wörgl , he moved to WSG Swarovski Wattens in 2001 , which later became FC Wacker Tirol . After the promotion in 2004 Windisch made his debut in the top division of Austria, the Bundesliga, in the same year . Bernd Windisch was a regular player in Innsbruck for four seasons until he was relegated in 2008 and then moved to FC Gratkorn in the first division . There he acted largely as a regular in the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons. Already in 2008/09 he was involved in the relegation battle with the team until the end, but this could still be averted; Windisch scored one goal in 31 league games. In the following season 2009/10 he scored two goals and as many assists in 28 championship appearances; in the final ranking it was enough for the Gratkorner for sixth place in the table. At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he was still a regular player, his appearances decreased continuously from autumn 2010 and from October 2010 he only rarely came to his appearances and most of the time he sat unused on the bench or was not even in the official squad. At the end of the day he had 21 goalless league appearances and was relegated with his team as the last of the first division to the third-class regional division middle. Even there he did not find a breakthrough after he was initially used as a regular player. An injury that he sustained in September 2011 prevented further missions and Windisch moved to SC Kalsdorf in January 2012 , which he left again in summer 2012 to move to the league competitor SV Pachern at the time. There he is still active today (as of May 2, 2016) as a player in the first combat team. He has been working full-time as a customer advisor at Volksbank Steiermark Mitte in the Graz-Straßgang branch since May 2013 .
