Tour of Bern (women)

The Berner Rundfahrt or Tour de Berne is a one-day race for women that has been held annually in Lyss , Switzerland since 2003 . The race was part of the women's cycling world cup until 2009 . The competition is held together with the men's race of the same name .

Until 2009, the race will run over a 20.8-kilometer circuit that will be driven through six times. In 2010 the route was modified and now leads over a 33.95 kilometer long circuit with an altitude difference of 420 meters , which is covered twice. In 2011 the number of rounds for women elite was increased to three rounds.
