Bernhard Wolf (actor)

Bernhard Wolf (* 1982 ) is an Austrian theater and film actor .

Life

At the age of ten, Bernhard Wolf was already playing on the stage of his home town of Bach in the upper Lech Valley in Franz Kranewitter's “Der Joch”. He was discovered there by Claudia Lang for the "Geierwally Freilichtspiele" in Elbigenalp . Here he played his first leading role in the play "Die Schwabenkinder" in 1996 and has been a permanent member since then.

After graduating from the HTL for electronics, he attended the Innsbruck drama school and was a member of the ensemble at the Tiroler Landestheater for several years . He has been working as a freelance actor since 2007. He appeared in David Lindemann's “Koala Lumpur” and, contrary to his temperament, even had to sing in the play “Der Watzmann ruft” in the Ehrenberg Castle in Reutte.

He also acts as a writer and theater director. In 2013 he officially took over the artistic direction of the Summer Games on the Geierwally open-air stage .

As early as 2008 he met Thomas Gassner in Telfs during the production of "Shakespeare's All Works Slightly Abridged". Together with Markus Oberrauch they form the “Feinripp-Ensemble”, three actors in underpants who perform “Shakespeare - reloaded”, “The Bible on tour” and “Grimm's fairy tale - hard shortened” for nine evenings from January 2016 in cabaret Simply make a guest appearance in Vienna.
