Hirschen is an idyllic place, the residents are happy and content. But one day the factory, the sole employer in the village, files for bankruptcy. The majority of the villagers then migrate. Only a few decide to stay in town, including the long-established round table. They are desperately looking for a solution to avoid leaving their homes. After a wildlife accident near the village, the injured driver is cared for by villagers. He lives in the butcher's guesthouse, is looked after by the doctor, the mechanic repairs his car, the policeman takes care of the formalities and the mayor brings him closer to the beauty of the place. That gives the round table a curious and profitable idea.

Hirschen was produced independently without the involvement of sponsors or broadcasters. In addition to numerous professional actors such as Oswald Fuchs , Beatrice von Moreau u. a. the film was cast with actors from East and North Tyrol. Hirschen was premiered on August 28, 2014 and was shown in Austrian cinemas on August 29, 2014. The start of Germany is in early summer 2015. In addition to the German version of the film, there is a second original film version Hirschen - Simply goad! in "original Tyrolean English", which was completed in early 2015. George Inci has invented his own music for the film music, which he calls "Global Folk". Further music for the film was composed by Gebhard Widemair and Ahilea Durcovski .
