Bernhard van Treeck

Bernhard van Treeck (born February 5, 1964 in Kempen , Niederrhein ) is a German specialist book author. His subjects are art in public spaces (especially graffiti and street art ), drugs and addiction, as well as health policy issues.

Life

Bernhard van Treeck is the head doctor of the Medical Service of the Health Insurance North (MDK). He is a lecturer at the Eppendorf University Medical Center . At the German Society for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Neurology (DGPPN), he heads the department for psychosocial health care research together with Georg Schomerus and Steffi Riedel-Heller (formerly: “Care” / Social Medicine ). From 2012 to 2014 he was state chairman of the Working Group of Social Democrats in Health Care (ASG) in Hamburg. He works in various working groups of the Friedrich Ebert FoundationWith. Since 2014 van Treeck has been - with a short interruption - a delegate of the Hamburg Medical Association , delegate of the German Medical Association and since 2015 he has been chairman of the strategy committee of the Hamburg Medical Association. He also works on committees of the German Medical Association and the Patient Safety Action Alliance.

Van Treeck has published on medical topics as well as art in the cityscape.
