Bernhard von Fumetti

Bernhard Julius von Fumetti (born November 1, 1825 in Esens , East Frisia , † July 19, 1907 in Hanover ) was a German administrative lawyer and most recently district administrator of the Ilfeld district .

Life

Fumetti studied law at the University of Göttingen and became a member of the Corps Bremensia there . In 1859 he became the head of the newly established Emden Police Department . For a time he was also an assistant officer for the office and mayor of the city of Moringen . Appointed police council in 1865, he became administrator of the Harburg police department and in 1867 chairman of the local police department.

In 1869 he received the post of governor of the Hohnstein office in Ilfeld . In 1885 he became district administrator of the Ilfeld district, most recently with the title of a secret councilor. In May 1900 he retired, which he spent in Hanover. Fumetti was a long-time member of the Hanover provincial parliament. He died in Hanover and was buried in Ilfeld.
