Bertha of Tübingen

Bertha von Tübingen (* around 1140 ; † February 24, 1169 ) was a margravine of Baden and Verona .

Bertha was the daughter of a Count Palatine of Tübingen .

Bertha von Tübingen married before 1162 the Margrave Hermann of Baden IV. , From this marriage the following children were born:

Her son Hermann V. von Baden succeeded his father as the ruling margrave.

Her husband Hermann IV was a participant in the Third Crusade , in which he fell in Antioch in 1190 . She found her final resting place in the burial place of the Margraves of Baden in the Augustinian Canons in Backnang .
