Raymond Berthillon (born December 9, 1923 in Fleury-la-Vallée , Yonne department , † August 9, 2014 in Paris ) was a French ice cream maker .

The son of a pastry chef learned his trade from 1940 to 1946 in Nitry and then until 1949 in Courbevoie . In 1954 he opened an ice cream restaurant in Paris's 14th arrondissement , which was mentioned in 1961 in the Gault-Millau and has since been an integral part of Paris travel guides.

Berthillon was considered one of the best ice cream makers in the world. In 2013 his shop, which is traditionally closed in August, generated a profit of 591,000 euros on a turnover of 4 million euros.
