The Frankfurt am Main vocational support organization V. (short: BFW Frankfurt am Main ) is a vocational support institution serving vocational rehabilitation . It is headquartered in Bad Vilbel .
It is one of the 28 companies coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and amalgamated in the federal association “Deutsche Berufsförderungswerke”.
Task: Participation in working life
The BFW Frankfurt am Main is a social institution for vocational rehabilitation , which has its basis in SGB IX , in particular in §§ 51 ff. SGB IX. It is geared towards the special needs of people with impairments caused by illness who can no longer practice their original profession due to an impairment or threatened impairment. The aim is the long-term participation of the rehabilitation candidate in working life.
After an assessment , they can acquire a professional qualification or a qualification at the BFW and thus start work for which their impairment does not have a negative effect. This is achieved through qualification offers and accompanying services, individual support by rehabilitation and integration managers, participant-centered training, special aids from the vocational promotion agency, implementation of a holistic approach to promote and encourage self-reliance and self-determination on the part of those undergoing rehabilitation on the basis of SGB IX, cooperation with Rehabilitation providers such as German pension insurance and professional associations as well as cooperation with social service companies. Rehabilitation, socio-educational and psychological specialist services accompany and support the rehabilitants according to their individual needs in order to secure the goal of integration into the labor market.
The qualifications are financed by the responsible rehabilitation provider. The way to the approval of a subsidized qualification can be paved through service centers, social associations or with the support of the vocational support organization.
