Beta (time signal service)

Beta is a time signal service in Russia that is primarily intended for military use .

The transmitters transmit time information at specified times on the frequency of 25 kHz. In addition, synchronization signals are sent at the frequencies 20.5 kHz, 23 kHz, 25.1 kHz and 25.5 kHz. Occasionally, coded information is also transmitted outside the transmission times of the time information.
