Betthupferl (radio broadcast)

Betthupferl is the title of a children's radio program on Bayerischer Rundfunk .

The bedtime was the BR Candida Franck invented and has, since March 1948 by the first children's radio boss bedtime stories every evening 7:55 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Bayern 1 broadcast. Since February 2, 2015, the program can also be heard on BR Heimat . Since January 1, 2019, the bedtime sweets no longer run on Bayern 1, but at 6:53 p.m. on Bayern 2 and there only from Monday to Saturday.

The stories are told in weekly series from Monday to Saturday. On Saturdays, the bedtime treat is broadcast in dialect (since 2011 initially on Sundays). A story from a Bavarian administrative district is told in the corresponding dialect. These Sunday editions are written and spoken by " native speakers " of the respective dialect. The authors of these dialect bedtime treats come from the fields of radio, literature, cabaret and puppetry, among others.
