Bettina Holzhüter (born July 25, 1965 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Bettina Holzhüter, who worked full-time as a painter and varnisher and played for VfL Wittekind Wildeshausen until 1986 , was a midfielder of SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach , with whom she twice reached the final of the German championship. In her final game premiere on June 26, 1988, she and her team won the penalty shoot-out title in the home stadium on Paffrather Strasse ; in the end it was 5: 4 against KBC Duisburg . She defended this with her team on July 8, 1989 in Montabaur , as TuS Ahrbach could be defeated 2-0. Holzhüter also played for Bergisch Gladbach in the Bundesliga that was founded in 1990 .
