Beuchen is a district of Amorbach in the Odenwald in the Miltenberg district in Bavaria .

geography

The church village of Beuchen is 458  m above sea level. NHN on a ridge between the valleys of Mud and Morre on the county road MIL 8, which ends in town. To the east is the village of Zittenfelden , which belongs to Schneeberg , and to the southwest is Preunschen , a district of Kirchzell . The state border with Baden-Württemberg runs in the south of Beuchen .

history

Beuchen was first mentioned in a document on June 18, 1350 in a Mainz document. On January 1, 1975, the previously independent municipality of Beuchen was incorporated into Amorbach.
