Preunschen is a district of the Kirchzell market in the Odenwald in the Miltenberg district in Bavaria .

geography

The church village Preunschen is 450  m above sea level. NHN on the district road MIL 17 on a ridge between the valleys of Gabelbach and Mud . The Wildenberg ruins are to the northeast of the village . The state border with Baden-Württemberg runs in the south of Preunschen . To the north is Kirchzell, to the south are the villages of Donebach and Mörschenhardt , which belong to Mudau . The village of Buch is located in the district of Preunschen .

Former parish

In 1964 Preunschen had a total of 339 inhabitants, 241 of them in the main town and 98 in the associated church village of Buch . The community was incorporated into Kirchzell on January 1, 1975.
