Beulah is a city of Mercer County in the US -amerikanischen State North Dakota .

History
The town was founded in 1913 and was named after Beulah Stinchcombe, the niece of a local rural development businessman. The area was brown coal ( Beulah lignite ) which is also in a 1984 put into operation found and mined coal gasification plant ( Great Plains Synfuels Plant is used). The city's main employer is still the Dakota Gasification Company , which operates the plant.
