Beuren is a district of the town of Isny im Allgäu in the Ravensburg district .
location
The place is located in the extreme southeast of Baden-Württemberg , about ten kilometers north of the urban area of Isny. The state road L 320 runs through it in an east-west direction.

history
A first-backed mention is found in Liber decimationis , the tenth book of the Bishopric of Constance , in 1275. 1347 the bought Monastery Isny a courtyard in Beuren, already in 1715 which took place Vereinödung in the local area. After changing affiliations, partly to the monastery and imperial city of Isny and to the Trauchburg rule , after the Peasants' War it came under the influence of the Waldburg-Zeil rule . In 1806 the area became part of the Kingdom of Württemberg and from 1810 belonged to the Oberamt Wangen .
On July 1, 1972, Beuren was incorporated into the city of Isny.

In the Beuren district, within the Taufach-Fetzach-Moos nature reserve, there are the small and large Ursee and the Badsee .
The church of St. Peter and Paul , newly built in 1509, is part of the Allgäu-Oberschwaben dean's office in the Rottenburg-Stuttgart diocese . A pastor Konrad Bechler is mentioned as early as 1396 and a renewal of this in 1452.
