The Beuvron is a river in France that runs through the regions of Brittany and Normandy . It changes its name several times in its upper reaches, initially rises as Ruisseau de Mébesnard in the municipality of Parigné and generally drains north. After crossing the village of Villamée , it suddenly calls itself Rivière de Villamée . Only further north does it take on the name Beuvron and finally flows 31 kilometers below Saint-Senier-de-Beuvron as a left tributary into the Sélune . On its way, the Beuvron crosses the departments of Ille-et-Vilaine and Manche .
