La Vallée du Lac de Joux district
The District de La Vallée (German district La Vallée du Lac de Joux ) was an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland until December 31, 2007 .
It included the area of the Vallée de Joux . The main town was Le Sentier , which belongs to the municipality of Le Chenit . The district was divided into the Cercles (dt. Circles) Le Chenit and Le Pont .
The district consisted of only three municipalities, was 163.61 km² and had 6,237 inhabitants (end of 2006).
