The District de Lausanne (dt. District Lausanne) is an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . The main town is Lausanne . The district court, the Palais de Justice , is located in Lausanne.

Until December 31, 2007, the District de Lausanne was divided into the three Cercles (dt. Districts) Lausanne , Pully and Romanel .
The district consisted of 12 parishes, was 84.75 km² and had 195,602 inhabitants (end of 2006).
