The District d'Echallens (Ger. District Echallens ) was until December 31, 2007 an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . The main town was Echallens . The district was divided into the three cercles (dt. Circles) Vuarrens , Bottens and Echallens .

The district consisted of 29 communities, was 136.67 km² in size and had 21,763 inhabitants (end of 2006).
