Vevey district
The District de Vevey ( German: District Vevey) was until December 31, 2007 an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . The main town was Vevey . The district was divided into the four Cercles ( German: Kreise) Montreux , La Tour-de-Peilz , Vevey and Corsier .
The district consisted of ten parishes, was 97.39 km² and had 70,566 inhabitants (end of 2006).
