The district of Oron ( French District d'Oron ) was until December 31, 2007 an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . The main town was Oron-la-Ville . The district ( French district ) was divided into the two districts ( French cercles ) Oron and Mézières .

The district consisted of 22 communities, was 76.01 km² and had 10,924 inhabitants (end of 2006).
