The Bezoldhütte is a former alpine club hut on the summit of the Dead Man in the Berchtesgaden Alps at 1,391 m above sea level. NHN . The unmanaged shelter hut is located in the Gnotschaft Schwarzeck in the Upper Bavarian municipality of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden .
history
The hut was built in 1883 on the initiative of Gustav von Bezold for around 58 marks as a small shelter and was named after him. The shelter was expanded to be weatherproof as early as 1884 and renovated in 1890. In 1912 a new shelter hut was built for 150 marks. In 1947, the Berchtesgaden section of the German Alpine Club gave the hut to the Ramsau tourist office, which built a new hut the following year. In 1983, the Ramsau community, which now owns, was redeveloped, and in 2008 for the 125th anniversary of the hut.
