The Bezoldhütte am Toten Mann is one of the most remote buildings in the Schwarzenck community.
The Evangelical Church of the Good Shepherd also belongs to the Schwarzeck Gnotschaft, to a smaller extent to the right (south) of the Ramsauer Ache .

Schwarzeck is one of the four Gnotships of the municipality of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden .

location

In the north, Schwarzeck borders the uninhabited district of Bischofswiesener Forst in the municipality of Bischofswiesen . In the south lies the also officially uninhabited district of Ramsauer Forst , around 500 meters south of the Ramsauer Ache. In the west, Schwarzeck borders on the Gnotschaft Taubensee and in the east on the Gnotschaft Au .

The border in the west is formed by the Schwarzeckerbach (north of the Ramsauer Ache) and the Eckau or Öfengraben to the south, which flows into the Ramsauer Ache. The Gesengschneid forms a natural border north of the source of the Schwarzeckerbach ; the community border follows the mountain ridge to the municipality border in the north. In the east, the Kaspernbach forms the border to the Gnotschaft Au up to the Soleleitungsweg , then the border follows this same path to the east to the municipality boundary. To the south of the Ramsauer Ache, the eastern border runs through Riesenbichl. The Schwarzeck region stretches from the valley to the Ramsau Hochschwarzeck ski area at around 1040 meters above sea level. Hochschwarzeck has the highest properties in the municipality of Ramsau, including Frohnwies and Schmuck at an altitude of around 1080 meters. The corridors of the Gnotschaft extend to the Dead Man , which lies on the border with the neighboring community of Bischofswiesen and is 1,392 meters high.

Just like the gnotships Au and Taubensee, Schwarzeck has a share in the built-up interior area in the valley of the Ramsauer Ache, which is informally referred to as the village of Ramsau or the town center , over a length of around 330 meters between the house numbers Im Tal 48 and Im Valley 74 .

history

Presumably as early as the end of the 14th century, Au together with Schwarzeck formed the 1st Gnotschaft district of the "Ur gnotschaft " Ramsau in the Berchtesgadener Land , which from 1380 comprised the heartland of the Reich Prelature Berchtesgaden and the later independent, empire-immediate prince-provost of Berchtesgaden (1559-1803). After three changes of rulership in quick succession, in 1810 the Berchtesgadener Land with its Gnotships was annexed to the Kingdom of Bavaria and from Ramsau from 1812 the municipality of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden with Au and Schwarzeck as two separate Gnotships. Since the size and structure of the municipality of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden were excluded from the regional reform in Bavaria in the 1970s , Au and Schwarzeck are still districts or gnotes of the municipality of Ramsau near Berchtesgaden.

Hochschwarzeck

At the end of the 1960s, the former industrialist Willy Schlieker had the Toten Mann developed up to the summit within the Gnotschaft area and created the “Hochschwarzeck” ski area on it . After several changes of ownership, the ski area became a citizens' company , as most of the shares in the company, which is now managed as a GmbH & Co. KG , are distributed among numerous residents of Ramsau in the form of a "high free float ".

The "Hochschwarzeck Bergbahn" comprises a chair lift , two drag lifts and a baby lift . The offer is extended by a cross-country ski run, a toboggan run as well as hiking trails and various restaurants and hotels.
