Snow Felden is since 1969 a district of the market Marktschellenberg in Upper Bavarian district of Berchtesgaden .

history

Presumably as early as the end of the 14th century, Schneeelden was a community district of Markt Schellenberg , the second capital of the Berchtesgadener Land , which from 1380 formed the heart of the Reich Prelature Berchtesgaden and the later independent, imperial provostry Berchtesgaden (1559-1803). After three changes of rulership in quick succession, in 1810 the Berchtesgadener Land with its Gnotships was annexed to the Kingdom of Bavaria .
