The Bhaga is the right source river of the Chandrabhaga ( Chanab ) in the north of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .

The Bhaga flows through the districts of Lahaul and Spiti in the western Himalayas . The river arises west of the Bachala-La pass at an altitude of about 5000  m . The Bhaga River initially flows towards the west-northwest. The Manali-Leh Highway follows the course of the river to its mouth. The Bhaga later turns in a sharp arc to the south-south-west. Several glacier-fed rivers flow into the Bhaga. The Bhaga passes the villages of Darcha and Jispa as well as the district capital Keylong . Finally it joins the Chandra to Chandrabhaga at Tandi 5.5 km west of Keylong . The Bhaga River has a length of about 80 km.
