Veddasca ( Lombard : Vedàsca ) is a former municipality (comune) in northwestern Lombardy , province of Varese , northern Italy . On December 31, 2013, the municipality had 245 inhabitants and an area of ​​16.6 km². Since 2014 it has belonged to the newly formed municipality of Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca . The former municipality was formed in 1928 from the present-day districts Armio, Biegno, Cadero con Graglio and Lozzo . On February 4, 2014, it merged with Maccagno and Pino sulla Sponda del Lago Maggiore to form the municipality of Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca .
