Bees and bees are the common diminutives to bees . In Switzerland and Liechtenstein they are also called Bienli or Bienle .

In Liechtenstein the youngest girl scouts ( age group 7 to 11 years) are called Bienle .

In so-called mother books , praise and awards for schoolchildren in the GDR were documented in the form of a stamped, stylized bee, which also earned these entries the name Bienchen (also busy bees ) in GDR parlance . Even today there are motif stamps and reward cards with a bee motif.

Some kindergartens and day care centers are called bees . There was a holiday camp with this name in Schönewalde .
