The men's Big 12 Tennis Championships were held for the twelfth time in 2008 . The game was played from April 25th to 27th of that year. The winner was Baylor University , which won the title for the sixth time.

Texas A&M University hosted the event for the third time since the Big 12 Conference was founded . The venue was the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station , Texas .

Tournament course

The top seeded University of Texas received a bye in the first round.

The three quarter-finals were played on April 25th. Host Texas A&M prevailed against Texas Tech; the favorites won the other two games. The semifinals took place the next day. Texas and Baylor won number one and two on the seeding list. The final, which took place on April 27, was won by Baylor University.

Baylor's Dénes Lukács was named best player at the end of the tournament.
