Bilme is a district of the municipality of Ense in the district of Soest , administrative district of Arnsberg , North Rhine-Westphalia . The place is on the northern edge of the hair strand; Soest is about eight km and Werl about nine km away. It is about five km to the Möhnesee recreational area .
The place is the least populous district of Ense and has 35 inhabitants. The townscape is characterized by cultivated farms and single-family houses, as well as fields and pastures. There is no infrastructure worth mentioning . The listed St. Urbanus Chapel is worth seeing . In addition to the Holy Spirit Church, which was renovated in 2006, a one-group kindergarten has been set up.
In the course of the municipal reorganization on July 1, 1969, Bilme was combined with 13 other independent locations to form the new municipality of Ense.
