Attractions

The Romanesque parish church of Los Santos Ángeles Custodios , built from broken stone and field stones and covered with natural stone slabs ( Spanish pizarras ), is - a patronage that is otherwise only to be found in the Spanish colonial empire - consecrated to the Guardian Angels and dates from the 12th century. The portal tympanum , protected by an anteroom, shows an ornamental richness that is unusual for a country church. Inside, the natural stone vision, a Romanesque font (pila bautismal) , several animal capitals and an archaic figure of a dragon slayer are impressive .
